I am a PhD candidate funded by The Leverhulme Trust. I am undertaking my PhD project in Bangor University’s School of the Environment, Natural Resources and Geography (SENRGY) under the supervision of Dr Julia Jones and Dr James Gibbons. I am externally supervised and collaborate with Dr Richard Young at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Since my MSc. in Ecological Economics (University of Edinburgh) I have been working on projects related to non-market ecosystem service valuation and cultural ecosystem services in Poland, Scotland and Uganda. I am interested in the decision making processes surrounding conservation projects and land use change. This economic angle has been built on top of a BSc. (hons) in Conservation Biology and Ecology from the University of Exeter.
